Brick and tile faced precast concrete units, combine the traditional appearance of brickwork, tiles and terracotta with the direct and incidental benefits of precast cladding construction. They provide a practical and economic cladding solution by enabling often hundreds of individual cut brick slips or keyed tiles to be incorporated into a single wall cladding panel, by bonding them into its reinforced concrete backing as the wet concrete is poured to fill its mould.   • Their production by an established workforce of skilled operatives offsite avoids a critical dependence upon sourcing and retaining sufficient qualified bricklayers at site for the project’s duration;

  • A capacity for panels to span between floor slabs or structural columns, thereby dispensing with the need for any secondary backing structure;
